What sets Prince of Peace Christian School apart? In some ways we are like other Christian schools in the Dallas area: we share a faith in God and provide a Christ-centered environment for learning. In other ways we are different: our status as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, granted by the United States Department of Education, is a rare achievement that reflects the academic excellence of our programs and the achievements of our students. We earnestly strive to keep parents informed and help them be a part of their child’s education. But what really makes our institution unique is our comprehensive approach to every student’s progress as an individual, a citizen and a spiritual being.
Our comprehensive goals for every student are encapsulated in the words “Belong, Believe, Grow, Become.” Belonging means learning in a nurturing environment where teachers care about students on a personal level and social harmony among students is actively promoted. Believing means putting the Christian faith at the center and encouraging students to follow Christ as a role model. Growing means making progress-not just as a student, but also as a person and a spiritual being. Becoming means giving students the opportunity to find out who they are, what interests them and how to take their skills and talents into the future as productive members of society, ready to take on challenges and opportunities.
