Care
Food Pantry
May Day…just how many of us can still remember when as children we made little paper baskets and picked some violets and delivered them to folks in our neighborhood? Maybe we should go back to simple ways of showing our love for our neighbors.
The support that the congregation of Prince of Peace gives to our Food Pantry and the Ministries we partner with continues to show many people in need that we love them.
Wish list for May:
Pancake syrup Saltine crackers Cookies Jelly Canned ham Canned chicken Hamburger Helper Cereal (not oatmeal we have plenty of it)
Also, we are partnering with Missions again this month to help stock the kitchen in the Habitat for Humanity house. We need new kitchen items like a toaster, a can opener, dishes, linens, flatware and pots & pans. Please include the receipt so that if we get two of an item we can exchange it prior to sending everything on to the house.
Children & Family
KidZone Summer Programs - WE NEED YOU!

Kidz Church is coming June 1 at 11am for children ages birth through 5th grade. This is in addition to the Summer Kidz programs at 8:00, 9:30 and 9:45am. At Kidz Church, children learn about worship and Jesus in a fun and interactive environment! Kids will begin in worship service with their families and be dismissed after the opening songs. We are recruiting volunteers for Summer Kidz and Kidz Church now! Can you serve just one Sunday this summer? Contact Diane Duda at diane.duda@princeofpeace.org. Please see the Children’s Ministry Newsletter for class times and rooms.
