Thank you to all volunteers that have registered! We are ready to Fill HIS House with 180+ servants!

Rob Biagi is returning to Rock HIS House! The kids of VBS will experience how a community cares, shares, worships, learns and celebrates through the Habitat for Humanity curriculum. Children will use their gifts and talents to make items that will be donated to families moving into Habitat homes. There are Habitat homes in Plano and Allen that will benefit from VBS 2008. The fun also includes far out games, Heavenly snacks, house projects, dramatic Bible stories, and fabulous entertainment. Your kids will scream with excitement when they receive their daily rewards!

I want to volunteer but I have young children?

Not a problem. A mini-VBS is offered for children ages birth through 5 years for volunteers. Register those children with all other children attending VBS and select "staff kids" when choosing an age.

What types of volunteers do you need?

We need volunteers that can prepare items at home prior to VBS and over 200 people to serve the week of VBS.

Roles during the week of VBS include:

Small Group leaders and assistants - are guides for the children that take them from one activity to another. Everything is prepared for you and you will learn everything you need to know in training. All you have to do during the week of VBS is show up with a big smile and share your love for Jesus with the children.

Craft - volunteers assist the children with the preparation of their daily crafts.

Games - volunteers assist in set-up and then have fun and play the daily games.

Administration - volunteers assist with registration, coin counting, attendance, and questions from parents.

Family Night - volunteers assist with set-up, serving, and clean-up with the Family Night dinner on Thursday, June 26. If you are unable to serve during the day, this is a great opportunity to serve VBS and experience the fun the kids have each day!
